Grooms on a Budget: Suiting and Accessorizing at Target

Not all grooms (actually most) have a budget built for Neiman Marcus, but a tight budget does't have to mean it's time to wave the white flag at looking good. Target does an excellent job keeping up with style trends, offering up to date fits and patters, while keeping prices low. They may be a step or two behind on quality, but their prices are at least 5 steps behind other department stores, and with Targets across the US it is also a great place to outfit your groomsmen.  If you're asking your groomsmen to buy shoes, ties and belts, Target is perfect, offering quick solutions at a great price. Grooms, your bride might be in charge of putting together your groomsmen get-ups, but maybe take her ideas, and show her how they can be recreated at Target.  You're groomsmen will greatly appreciate buying a new belt for $20 instead of $80 at Macy's.

  1. These are awesome finds! Having just recently picked up some great bridesmaids dresses from Target, I agree about the great pricing point.

One recommendation: Find the items in store. It will save you the headache of waiting and seeing if sizes fit. Unless you're willing to wait, ordering from Target online can take anywhere from 1 1/2 - 3 months. Don't test it... I did! I ran into problems that after 1 1/2 months we only received 2 out of 3 dresses and a note saying out of stock. I had to run to a fabric store, match the fabrics and take it to a tailor. Not Fun. Just find it in store and be happy.

  2. These are great, although personally I wouldn't cut corners when it comes to my wedding. I'd go to payday loans if I have to.
