Groom's Pocket: What to Carry When You're Getting Married

Whether it is your wedding day or you're recently engaged, there are a few items grooms should keep close at all times. So I've started a series dedicated to important pocket items every groom should carry.

#1 - Ricqles Peppermint Cure
Being a groom is one of the best times of your life. You're engaged to the love of your life. You're calling your closest friends and settling travel plans for them to come see you. However being a groom also means too many meetings, too much traveling and too many strangers, leaving you tired and sick.  Being to tired after work to go with your bride to the florist isn't an excuse to stay home. It just means you need to suck it up and go!

This is why it's important to keep a cure all in your pocket or at least glove-box at all times.  Peppermint Cure is 1.75 ounces of soothing versatility.  It has an answer to most health set backs the wedding process can throw at you, and small enough it can go with you everywhere. Think of it as the male version of Midol and lip gloss.

It's French made and sold at Asian markets. Peppermint Cure might be a little hard to find but could make a big difference.

A few drops on a lump of sugar to help digestion, to relieve stomach pains, combat fatigue.
Put in a glass of water to refresh drink and sweeten the breath.
Put in tea, milk or a grog to prevent and help cure colds.
Medicinally, to soothe headaches, cool the skin as an antiseptic.

From bad breath to headaches it has an answer for most first aid needs, but honestly it's the cool glass bottle, red cap and French label that sells me.  If the next time a friend tells you they have a headache and you pull out this bottle, I guarantee they will be much more interested than if you offered them Tylenol (even if they're nervous to try it).
